The tool validates GTIN-8 (EAN-8), GTIN-12 (UPC-A), GTIN-13 (EAN-13), and GTIN-14 formats. It auto-detects the format based on the number of digits and validates the check digit accordingly.
Yes. All validation runs entirely in your browser. Your barcode numbers are never sent to any server. The GS1 country prefix lookup uses a local database bundled with the tool.
